No The most popular mail service provider of the current time, from Gmail to Android, the most used operating system for smartphones, all are Google’s creation. Again we also used to watch or save videos on YouTube or Chrome browsers, we use it for easy browsing online also Google’s products. Most of the products we use online are actively or passively connected with Google. That’s why Google is the “Tech Giant” in the world of technology.

But one thing needs to be clarified, Google is not King Midas, it won’t turn anything into gold whatever it touches . We know about Google’s successful products, and for this reason, Google is widely praised. But that does not mean that all Google products are successful. Rather Google has many such products that have failed, and at one point, Google has been forced to stop their activities. In 2011, when the Wall Street Journal was published that five million Google Plus users’ information was leaked to third-party developers, Google was originally forced to send Google Plus to a digital graveyard.

Jaiku was a micro-blogging site, where users had the opportunity to express their feelings in a limited range. Google bought it in October 2007. But by January 2009 it was clear that Jaiku is never able to compete with the rival Twitter, because when Google started Jai Prakash campaign, Twitter has become an established site. So hopefully, leaving a little established site, users will use similar new sites, expecting it to be unrealistic. So at the end of 2011, Google announced that it would stop Jaiku’s activities permanently.

Google Glass is a ANDROID SMART GLASS , Though Google stopped selling Glass and ended the Explorer beta program, it hasn't canceled the project (though the first iteration of the Glass product was canceled).

Google brought Google Glass ( ANDROID Operated SMART GLASS ) in 2012 which targeted customer was fashion conscious people . It was assumed that it will rule in the future tech world. But unfortunately, this product could not attract ordinary people for very high price of $1,500. It also had software problems, confidentiality problems, and so on. So in January 2015, Google shut down its Glass Explorer program, where the developers built an app for Google Glass. That year, they stopped production of Google Glass’s new prototype. But in the year 2017, they started work on the project again and announced to bring Google glass enterprise edition to the market.

Bump and Flock which original name was google BUMP is a FILES-SHARING APP, Bump Technologies shut down the service and discontinued the app on January 31, 2014, after being acquired by Google for Google Photos and Android Camera

Besides, Google also owns group photo sharing app “Flock“. But at the end of 2014, Google stopped their Bump and Flock apps, and users get 30 days to recover their data.
